Waite's protests to Sky fall on deaf ears - fans can also protest.

Peter Waite has some advice for fans who have suffered major problems with the last minute change of plan that means the Bandits now do not go to Reading or the Isle of Wight next Monday and Tuesday.

He said: “We, as a club have protested bitterly about the ridiculous last minute change to our away fixtures on Monday and Tuesday next week, but we cannot protest any more than what we have.

“Our fans who were planning travelling down, some of whom have planned for three months, are suffering the loss of thousands of pounds of travel arrangements and hotel bills, and I would suggest they send their protests to SKY Sports, who instigated the change to both fixtures.

“Fans could email Sky Sports via their website and place their protests there, for it seems the media organisation never thinks about the nightmares such a silly last minute change can do and if they hear about the problems from their viewers first hand, maybe they’ll think a bit more in future.

“As it is it looks like we’re stuck with this disgraceful state of play now, and we’re certainly not chilled out over it yet, just ask out riders about that one!”
